My Eternal Missonary
You embarked—to a far off world
At the age when most go to teach
The word—to seek out and give the gift
Of the gospel—
I kissed your hands, dangling off a gurney
We said our good-byes as the last breath drew
From your earthly being
“Till we meet again” Played a hurtful tune.
You teach, my eternal missionary
In the realm of the angels
You teach and grow and now know
The truth—
I felt you there, when endowments were given—
Kissing my neck…
I will see you again, in white we will meet at the
Savior’s feet.
My, eternal missionary
To my eternal missionary,
Robert David Baker-Inscore--
Who was sent to live with Heavenly Father on May 3rd, 1998
to serve on his mission--
