I did all that, for love.
Imagine; waking up to the warm fresh smell of raisin and cinnamon buns, piping hot chocolate, with marshmallows, tantalizing mouth watering salt water taffy hand pulled right in front of your very eyes—and all your life, you have grown accustomed to having it—it has been there for you, a habit of yours day in and day out and then, in order to convert to a new way of life you must STOP cold turkey.
It’s difficult to change your way of life; to give up those desired vices like: coffee, tea, cigarettes, and cursing. It’s difficult to change your mannerisms and dress code to adhere to another way of thinking and life. I did all that, for love. Ah, not just for the love of a special man mind you, but for the love of the gospel. This is for a special feeling a certain warmth that burned deep within my soul. It wasn’t easy either—especially after the losses I endured just shortly after I entered the waters of baptism.
